About

I have been doing portraits professionally for 45 years. My specialty is children, but have additional experience with adult and pet portraits. I currently work in pencil and in oil. My goal is to capture the essence of the subject’s personality and their unique likeness. I also paint landscapes in oil, and am especially interested in the effect of light on trees, grass, buildings and water.

I have a B.A. Fine Arts from Indiana University/ Bloomington and an honorary degree in Illustration from the School of Visual Arts. I was represented by Portraits Incorporated in New York City.

My work has been exhibited at Princeton Art Association and Princeton Arts Council, Princeton, NJ; Mercer County Community College Gallery, West Windsor, NJ; Riverrun Gallery, Stockton NJ; Studio at 8 Gordon and Chamber’s Walk, Lawrenceville, NJ.
